Postmodernists believe that we live in a world of multiple truths that give rise to incommensurable interpretations of reality and think that we should promote di¡erence rather than seek to subsume it in the quest for agreement and consensus. (Jackson 2003)

Postmodernism is defined here as it is used to describe an approach to systems in which all notions of problem or solution are rejected in favor of creating an environment in which people can be innovative and creative in response to changing situations.
