A requirement is “a statement that identifies a system, product or process characteristic or constraint, which is unambiguous, clear, unique, consistent, stand‐alone (not grouped), and verifiable, and is deemed necessary for stakeholder acceptability.” (INCOSE. 2010) p. 362.
