Acceptance of Terms: Acceptance of the Sandbox terms is required if you want to contribute edits, suggestions, and material to the Sandbox for consideration in future versions of the SEBoK. The Editorial Board will monitor and select contributions for incorporation during the period that the Sandbox is open to the public. Please read the following terms, once you ‘accept’, provide your name and sign, then click submit. Your request to contribute will be processed by administrators and you will receive temporary credentials in a separate email within 48 hrs.

- I understand the SEBoK is a body of knowledge developed and operated under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License.The Trustees of the Stevens Institute of Technology (hereafter “Stevens”) are publishing the SEBoK as a compilation including third party material under the terms of a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported (CC BY-NC-ND 3.0)

- I hereby agree to grant and assign, and hereby do grant and assign, my full copyrights, title and interest in my contributions to the SEBoK to Stevens for the life of any and all copyrights on the SEBoK. I further acknowledge that Stevens, its successors, and assigns, has the right, among all other rights afforded as a result of this assignment, to create derivative works based on the SEBoK. I also assign to Stevens any and all unsatisfied claims for damages by reason of infringement and the right to sue for such damages and collect same.

- I hereby represent and warrant that I am or will be the sole and lawful creator of, and the sole and lawful owner of the rights in and to, my contribution to the SEBoK, and that such contribution is or will be an original work of authorship. I further represent and warrant that (a) to the extent that my contribution to the SEBoK incorporates text passages, figures, data or other material from pre-existing works of third parties, I have obtained or will obtain any and all necessary rights and licenses from such third parties; (b) my execution of this release and assignment is not and will not be in violation of any other contract, agreement or understanding to which I am a party; and (c) my contribution to the SEBoK will not infringe or otherwise violate any copyright or other intellectual or proprietary right or other property or personal rights. I agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Stevens from any claims, demands, suits, actions, damages, costs, attorneys’ fees and expenses that may arise in the even of a breach of any of the representations and warranties set forth above.

- I understand that all copyright owned images and tables that I contribute to the Sandbox require permission from the copyright owner prior to uploading in the Sandbox and that it is my responsibility to obtain that permission in writing, and forward the permission in writing from the rightful owner to the Sandbox administrative team via email at bkcase@stevens.edu or it cannot be used in any version of the SEBoK.
