Discussion

Definition (1) is has been created for the SEBoK to distinguish from a product from a Product System.

Definition (2) is a systems engineering definition, which is consistent with the concept of a System of Interest focused on the product system to be delivered to an acquirer who will use it to help deliver user outcomes.
