I can find no meaningful reference to interface management, which is a critical systems engineering activity through the definition, realisation and in-service phases. This needs to be fixed!

The right hand side of the Figure is confusing.  The boxes are not clearly portrayed as Life Cycles composed of Stages.

"This decomposition of the system illustrates the fundamental concept of Recursion (glossary) as defined in the ISO/IEC 15288 standard." -- Recursion is not '''defined''' in 15288, it is discussed briefly in '''F.4 Relationship of IEEE Std 1220''':  "Although 1220 and 15288 are both applied in a recursive fashion, the object of the recursion is different. A

system in its simplest form is comprised of a set of interacting system elements. Recursive application of

15288 creates a hierarchy of systems and system elements with the uppermost level being the system-ofinterest."

I had suggested to Garry Roedler that it would be helpful if we included links to abstracts. I volunteered to add those links and Garry agreed. I have used the standard number field for the link. I have only provided a few links so far just to get reaction that this approach is desirable.

Figure 5 needs to be updated. The figure is obsolete. Many of the SEBoK KA and Topic names have changed since this figure was drawn. For example, "Transfer for Use" is now called "System Deployment", "Operation" is now "Operation of the System", "System Maintenance and Logistic Support" is now two topics "System Maintenance" and "Logistics", "System Update / Upgrade" is now "Capability Updates, Upgrades, and Modernization", and "System Disposal" is now "Disposal and Retirement". Maintenance also includes a new topic called "Service Life Extension"
