This section provides a summary of changes for SEBoK v1.6. See letter from the editor for a wider discussion of the changes and future plans.

SEBoK v1.6 includes a reorganization of Part 1, SEBoK Introduction. Part 1 has been divided into three knowledge areas (KA):Introduction to the SEBoK,Introduction to Systems Engineering,Introduction to SE Transformation.
