Modularity (glossary)
(1) Degree to which a system or computer program is composed of discrete components such that a change to one component has minimal impact on other components. (2) Software attributes that provide a structure of highly independent components. (ISO/IEC/IEEE 24765:2010 Systems and software engineering--Vocabulary)
