Adapted from definition of "tailoring guide": Instructions that enable an organization to adapt the process description of standard processes appropriately to meet specific needs. (ISO/IEC 2004) Note from SEVocab (IEEE 2012): Tailoring a process adapts the process description for a particular end. For example, a project creates its defined process by tailoring the organization's set of standard processes to meet the objectives, constraints, and environment of the project.
